So exciting! Are you happy to be in D.C? Hm... You should go check out the Smithsonian! I mean who wouldn't love to go see Dorothey's Ruby Slippers! It seems like you'll have loads of fun in D.C! Have you done anything yet?
Wow, how exciting to be in a place full of so much of America's history! :D Mama said she really liked seeing the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean and Vietnam War memorials, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (she even got to be a part of the wreath-laying ceremony when she was in high school).
I hope you take lots of pictures to share with all of us. :)
OMG!! I would LOVE to move there. My best friend Katie moved there. I shoud ask my mom for christmas to move to there. (Or a town or two over.) So how 'bout a room tour?
I think you should come see me! Seriously, I don't live that far. Unfortunately, I still am not able to get up to DC very often, but when I do, I'd love to meet up with you. ;)
I think you should definitely check out the National Mall and all of the museums that border it. I especially like the Museum of the American Indian. Also, if you like theatre, go see something at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA!
The Air & Space museum out by the airport is sooo cool! You can go up in the tower and watch the planes take off and land, and they even have a spaceship inside the museum!
I was going to say the Newseum, too. We loved it. And the Smithsonian where they have the toys. I think they have the model of the White House/big dollhouse. For a while it was in California at the Ronald Reagan Library.
Great place! We live just down from Baltimore and we have found many interesting things to see. Check out the bakeries! We have one here named Yia Yias...They have the best pastries! Have fun in D.C.!
The Smithsonian! All of it! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe spy museum is cool too, as well as the National Portrait Gallery.
A spy museum sounds fun!

Piper, you should go to the Newseum, it's really cool. I went there in 5th grade and it was amazing.
