Have you heard the news?

Did you know that I moved? Can you guess where?

Maybe this will help...

That's right! I live in Washington DC, our nation's capitol!

Have you ever been here before? Anything special you think I should go see?

  1. The Smithsonian! All of it! ;-)

The spy museum is cool too, as well as the National Portrait Gallery.

  2. So exciting! Are you happy to be in D.C? Hm... You should go check out the Smithsonian! I mean who wouldn't love to go see Dorothey's Ruby Slippers! It seems like you'll have loads of fun in D.C! Have you done anything yet?

  3. Wow, how exciting to be in a place full of so much of America's history! :D Mama said she really liked seeing the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean and Vietnam War memorials, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (she even got to be a part of the wreath-laying ceremony when she was in high school).

I hope you take lots of pictures to share with all of us. :)

  7. Hiya Piper,

I think you should come see me! Seriously, I don't live that far. Unfortunately, I still am not able to get up to DC very often, but when I do, I'd love to meet up with you. ;)

I think you should definitely check out the National Mall and all of the museums that border it. I especially like the Museum of the American Indian. Also, if you like theatre, go see something at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA!

  14. Piper, you should go to the Newseum, it's really cool. I went there in 5th grade and it was amazing.

  15. I was going to say the Newseum, too. We loved it. And the Smithsonian where they have the toys. I think they have the model of the White House/big dollhouse. For a while it was in California at the Ronald Reagan Library.
